Steps for skilled migration visa-

1) First of all need to score minimum of 60 points to qualify for applying visa which depends on Age, Qualification, Experience, English language test and/or state nomination factors. There are a number of websites from where points calculation can be estimated like,

2) SkillSelect - Fill EOI (Expression of Interest) with your personal details as well as above mentioned factors. Do not enter any fake details for EOI as on later stage your application will face issues which can lead you to rejection. Also your occupation should be there in Skilled Occupation List defined by Australian authorities. Before submitting EOI you can add/update details at any stage. Remember to update EOI time to time such as after successful completion of Assessments, any update in Occupation details and English test results etc

3) English Test - If you are not from a English speaking countries such as USA, UK then you need to go for some recognized English tests like IELTS, PTE, Cambridge etc.

4) Skilled Occupation Assessment -  You need to get your skills assessed from Assessing authorites

5) Once your qualifications and skilled are assessed and you are at least at competent level in English, now you can submit your EOI. After submitting EOI applicant will receive invitation link to lodge visa application.
